Holy Trinity Serenity Garden

Ceremony held to dedicate recently completed Holy Trinity Serenity Garden

October 23, 2010

On Sept. 29, Holy Trinity dedicated the recently completed Holy Family Serenity Garden. The dedication began with a Mass at 5:30 p.m. by Bishop Grosz with a reception following. The garden was a vision by the parish to celebrate the family, with prayers for those families in need and thanks for those who are able to stand strong in the world today.

The garden is nestled on the south lawn of the church and presents the community a place for quiet reflection and prayer and to simply find peace and enjoy the serenity of the garden.

Many parishioners, community members and those who have been inspired to be a part of this project have already made donations. The garden will be an ongoing place for families and friends to memorialize their loved ones, dedicate bricks for special events, or to share their faith and dedication to the family through donations and prayer.

Anyone interested in the Holy Family Serenity Garden or with questions on how to participate, call the Holy Trinity rectory at 366-2306. Holy Trinity thanks all for their prayers and continued support for the family, the inspiration for this garden.
